To end in the best way the woman history month, I want to recommend you some songs that are important to me, songs that transmit girl power or that give a voice to different female struggles and also these are songs from some of my favorite female singers, amazing and talented woman that are an inspiration.

Kehlani - Crazy

A badass anthem.Kehlani talks about being strong, about how we can overcome difficulties if we follow our dreams we are passionate.

Kehlani's work never disappoints with her sexy r&b's and touching ballads, she shows her queerness in her songs and videos, she is a true icon.

Mamamoo - Yes i am

A song about confidence, about being proud of us, it says it is ok to be confident, to wear whatever we want to wear and feel free to be ourselves. Mamamoo is a kpop girlgroup that outsand of their vocal range, variety of concepts and for inspiring young woman.

Alessia cara - Scars to your beautiful

A beautiful message for everyone, about feeling confident in our skin, know our value, that we are even if we don't fit in beauty standarts, specialy for woman who are constantly under aestethic pressure since we can remember.

Alessia in an authentic artist, you can always see her personality and humbleness besides her songs go straight to the heart.

Zolita - Fight like a girl

A call for us to be brave, to fight for our rights,to dont be afraid to raise our voice and keep on the revolution to make this a world better for every woman, with our differences and the things we all fight against.

Zolita is such an interesting artist all her videos are gay and precious.

Hayley Kiyoko - Gravel to tempo

*Hayley alias lesbian jesus* The video and lyrics means a lot to me, it's a big shout out to all the girls who like girls, to know that we are great, we are valid even if we are on our own.

This song is part of the masterpiece Citrine Ep.

Yuna - Bravest everything

A sweet song that remember us to keep going that is ok to be weak and scared sometimes but we are still great and we can succed in what we want.

Aretha Franklin - Respect

An amazing song about self respect, an story to which a lot of woman can relate to, woman that due to marriage they lost theirselves but they got to demand respect, If they dont get respect they should leave. For a long time the fact that a woman get divorced was a luxury and even when it was legalized social stigma made woman be scared of their own freedom.

Nina Simone - Ain't got no,i got life

No matter how difficult times we go through, the money, material things, the social spectations are not as important as what we can do with our own life, with our passion, persistence and will.

Nina was not afraid to express what she thought in her sgs and speeches, criticizing racism and empowering POC women, more about her in 7 Incredible artist Woman you should stan.

Little mix - Little me

A song with a message to the little version of us, to speak our minds to feel pretty and enough, a message that all girls should listen, we are powerful and we can be anything we want to be.

This song is part of the album Salute(2013) , Little mix is one of the oldest girlgroups that are still together I’ve been following them for a while and they haven’t disappointed me being role models and including a feminist message in their songs.

CL - The baddest female

A shout of independece, braveness to dont follow the rules, a call to sisterhood, to don't be afraid to be us without having to fit in certain female roles.

Former leader of 2ne1 now taking over the US, she and her group have meaningful songs and videos such as Ugly and Go away.
