Well, are just in January and we see all those new seasons of amazing shows coming soon, here are some of the most loved queer characters that will comeback this 2019.

OITNB

Alex

Orange is the new black ends with their 7th season and with it the characters we love and saw grow will say goodbye. The show is characterized for its diversity, the way the stories of every inmaid represent social problematics or discrimination issues that happen in real life. Alex the girl crush of half of the audience, badass, with her bad and good moments and her love for piper that can overcome everything, offcourse we hope for a happy ending of Vauseman. For all of us the fans that follow oitnb and that were accompanied for it every year, it will be a very important and nostalgic moment to farewell oitnb with all the laughs and tears it brought us.

Dear white people

Lionel

One of the series that needs more attention due to the polemic issues about racism that are talked about and the evolution of the characters. The character that I liked the most was Lionel, an introvert and gay college student that we saw accepting his sexual orientation in the first season.He is a relatable character which story goes beyond tha fact that he is gay, we hope he has more presence in this new season because his perspective its very important to the main topic of the show.

Shadow hunters

Magnus

Despite all the critics that one can make to the show, I kept on watching it. There are changes in lots of aspects of the books but it's still interesting because it brings to real life the things we read about in the world written by Cassandra Clare. I think my main motivation to watch Shadow hunters are characters like Izzy or Magnus. The iconic Magnus Bane played by Harry Shum jr who really makes justice to the Great warlock of brooklyn and besides that the Malec moments worth it.

Chilling adventures of Sabrina

Ambrose

This remake had good reception, the second season will be out in April 25 of and the trailer seems promising. The adaptaion has new actors and the charismatic Ambrose who according to the comic's writter is pansexual. He is the naughty guy that replaces the figure of Salem, the cat doesnt speak in this show. Ambrose as it was described by Museadventures seems like 'the son of Malec', now we have the curiosity to know what will happen to his romance with luke after the lastest events of the season.

One day at a time

Elena

The sitcom that portraits the life of a Cuban ascendence family in the US will return in February 8. This show was acclaimed for having a message with its format of comedy, for representing the reality of a famly with it's hilarious moments and other moments when they talk about important issues. Elena is a fantastic character, a lesbian feminist teen who isn't afraid to raise her voice and it's a comic representation of queer twitter activists.

Special mention to:

Izzy and Cassey of Atypical, their romance just begins in the last chapters of the second season. They gave us one of the most beautiful and intense moments of the show. Atypical is highly recomended it's full of cuteness,comedy and very interesting characters.
